Toronto police say three carjacking suspects confirmed an “absolute disregard for the lives” of officers once they allegedly smashed into police autos whereas trying to evade arrest within the Islington Avenue and Steeles Avenue West space on Friday night time.
All three suspects have been taken into custody and now face a barrage of theft and weapons fees.
Police say the trio have been chargeable for two violent, armed carjackings of high-end autos — a 2024 BMW X5, valued at roughly $175,000 and a 2021 Lamborghini Urus, valued at roughly $400,000.
The primary incident befell on Saturday, April 6, at round 2 p.m. within the Ellesmere Highway and Kennedy Highway space.

Police made a break within the case on Friday, April 12, once they noticed the stolen Lamborghini within the Islington Avenue and Steeles Avenue West space at round 10:27 p.m., following it to a parking zone on Barmac Drive the place the driving force acquired out and entered an institution.
