A spooky fundraiser is ready to bolster the coffers of St John this weekend.
A horror evening is ready to be held at a maize maze maze by means of Tamar Beef’s head-high maize discipline at 2390 Methven Freeway.
The maze opened final weekend and continues this week, with the primary horror evening on Friday.
The horror maze kicks off at 8.30pm and runs to 10.30pm. Employees from Tamar Beef and St John youth can be in costume and lurking in strategic spots so as to add to the spooky and scary ambiance.
“Carry a torch and be ready to be scared,” Chrissie Wright, from Tamar Beef, stated.
She stated the maze had an amazing first weekend with a lot of constructive suggestions. Nearly 300 individuals gave it a go final weekend.
For many who do not benefit from the adrenalin rush of ghouls, ghosts and different scream-worthy creatures, the maze may also be open from midday to 4pm on Saturday or Sunday. Entry is $5 for these aged 12 and below and $10 for these older than 12. A sausage sizzle, ice blocks and chilly drinks can be out there (money solely).
All proceeds from the maze will go to St John.
Weekend maze walkers also can enter the competitors for an opportunity to win a $100 Tamar Beef pack. To enter you will must jot down 10 coordinates within the maze. Entry varieties can be found on the entrance, however you have to to convey your personal pen.
