The House Workplace has launched a social media marketing campaign in Vietnam to discourage migrants from coming to the UK illegally.
Starting on Monday 25 March, the marketing campaign will use adverts on Fb and YouTube to focus on individuals within the south-east Asian nation who could also be contemplating making unlawful journeys to the UK.
An rising proportion of small boat migrants are Vietnamese and they’re one of many prime 10 nationalities for migrants crossing the Channel illegally, the House Workplace mentioned.
It added that the adverts will “set out the dangers of being indebted to and exploited by the people-smuggling gangs who revenue from facilitating small boat crossings”.
