Tánaiste Micheál Martin has stated he can be pushing the European Union to impose sanctions on “terrorist” settlers within the West Financial institution, amid escalating violence within the area.
The Minister for International Affairs stated Eire is open to contemplating sanctions on such settlers at a nationwide stage if EU states can not agree. He stated the proposed sanctions would apply to the Hamas management and “operatives”, in addition to extremist West Financial institution settlers.
