Matthew Perry toxicology report reveals cause of death was “acute effects of ketamine”

Matthew Perry, the beloved “Pals” sitcom star, died from the “acute results of ketamine,” in line with an post-mortem report launched Friday by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner Workplace. 

Perry, 54, was discovered unresponsive, “floating face down within the heated finish of pool,” the post-mortem report dated Oct. 29 mentioned. His explanation for dying is listed the “acute results of ketamine,” with contributing components listed as “drowning, coronary artery illness and buprenorphine results.”

The report says the dying was unintended and that no indicators of foul play had been suspected.

The actor had struggled with habit for a few years, though he reportedly had been clear for 19 months, the report mentioned.
