‘May December’ | Anatomy of a Scene

Hello, I’m Todd Haynes, and I’m the director of ‘Might December.’ [DOOR OPENS & CLOSES]: “Now, that is foolish.” “That is really very severe enterprise.” “When you say so.” So on this scene, Natalie Portman, who’s enjoying an actor, Elizabeth Berry, who’s planning to painting the character that Julianne Moore performs, Gracie Atherton-Yoo, in a narrative concerning the origins of this scandalous relationship that occurred over 20 years in the past, the place Gracie seduced a 13-year-old boy. And on this scene, she actually is, as actors do, wanting on the method Gracie applies make-up, and her make-up selections. However in the long run, man, as a director of nice actresses that I’ve been fortunate sufficient to mark my profession by, this was a selected astonishing day to look at these two girls. “What was your mom like?” “She was lovely.” And so a shot like this can be a nice thought, nevertheless it doesn’t work until you could have Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman.
