An individual has died following a fireplace inside a home bus on the West Coast.
Hearth and Emergency stated they attended the home bus fireplace at Blue Spur, about 6km from Hokitika, at 4.15am.

Hearth crews extinguished the blaze and the final crew left the scene at 6.50am.
