A bunch of protesters interrupted Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff’s victory speech on Tremendous Tuesday, shouting him off the stage.
Schiff was on the Avalon Theater in Burbank Tuesday evening, declaring victory after studying he’ll advance to the U.S. Senate race. At one level, a scuffle broke out after a number of demonstrators within the crowd chanted “cease-fire now” and “let Gaza stay” loud sufficient to briefly halt Schiff’s speech.
A clearly shaken Schiff was capable of briefly thank his supporters and acknowledging protestors earlier than leaving the stage.
Republican Steve Garvey, a former skilled baseball participant who jumped into the Senate race in October, will even advance in California’s Senate major. He gave a victory speech earlier within the evening from Palm Springs.
Schiff and Garvey will face off within the November normal election to fill the seat of the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein. Feinstein died in September.
