Suspect identified in fatal New Hampshire hospital shooting, AR-style rifle found in truck in parking lot

CONCORD, N.H. – The suspect in a taking pictures that left a safety officer useless on the New Hampshire State Hospital in Harmony has been recognized and the lawyer basic confirms an AR-style rifle was present in a truck within the hospital’s car parking zone.

Legal professional Common John Formella recognized the suspect in Friday’s taking pictures as 33-year-old John Madore. Formella stated Madore was homeless and had lately hung out at a lodge on the Seacoast after which in Harmony. 

After the taking pictures, a U-Haul truck was discovered idling within the hospital’s car parking zone. New Hampshire State Police Col. Mark Corridor stated the bomb squad inspected the truck and decided it wasn’t a public security menace. Contained in the truck, an AR-style rifle, tactical vest and several other rounds of ammunition have been discovered. Formella did not affirm if it was related to Madore.

The safety officer killed within the taking pictures was recognized as 63-year-old Bradley Haas, a veteran of the Franklin Police Division and the division’s former chief. After Haas was shot, Corridor stated a state trooper assigned to the hospital responded instantly shot and killed Madore. The trooper’s id will not be launched till an investigation is accomplished.
