The practice was derailed at 6:31 pm affecting mail specific site visitors on the Kasara-Igatpuri part on the Down line and center line, he added.
Taking to X, Central Railway chief public relations officer (CPRO) Shivraj Manaspure mentioned: “There may be derailment of a items practice between Kasara to TGR-3 DOWN line part at 18.31 hrs, on Down Fundamental line. Items train- JNPT/DLIB Container practice. 2 wagons derailed. Mail specific site visitors in Kasara to Igatpuri part DOWN part is affected. And center line is affected. Suburban native practice site visitors shouldn’t be affected.”
The CPRO mentioned that the Igatpuri to Kasara UP part site visitors was not affected as a result of derailment whereas the Kalyan station street ART (accident reduction practice) and Igatpuri station rail ART (accident reduction practice) have been moved to the accident web site.
